The purposes of ACOC are to provide internet technology leadership to community centered non-profit organizations in Ashtabula County, and to create and maintain a comprehensive web site containing information about Ashtabula County.

ACOC will promote Ashtabula County as a good place to live, work and visit, and will increase the County's sense of community by fostering communication among residents, businesses, and organizations.

ACOC is administered by a Board of Trustees, composed of representatives from the following eleven (11) Organizations: 

   Kent State University Ashtabula Campus (KSUAC)
   Ashtabula County District Library (ACDL)
   Civic Development Corporation of Ashtabula County (CDC)
   Council of Ashtabula County Libraries (CACL) 
   Ashtabula County Community Action Agency (ACCAA) 
   Ashtabula County Commissioners (ACC) 
   Growth Partnership for Ashtabula County (GPAC) 
   Ashtabula County Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACCVB) 
   The League of Women Voters of Ashtabula County (LWVAC) 
   Ashtabula County Superintendents (ACS) 
   Ashtabula County Council on Aging (ACCOA) 
 

Each organization has officially resolved to participate in ACOC for an initial three-year period, and has designated a representative to serve in the Board of Trustees.
